It started with two people and one gym.
Martin was a bodybuilder. Stanka had just finished fashion school. They met in a gym, and she started designing for people like them: clothes that actually fit a trained body and didn’t look like everyone else’s.
That was 1997, long before gymwear was an industry.
She’s been designing NEBBIA ever since.
THE OBSESSION
Every NEBBIA piece starts from a blank page in our own studio. Stanka has led the design direction since 1997, and every cut, pattern, and detail still passes through that one creative vision.

This was never just about clothing.

LOVE, IN A GYM
Stanka and Martin meet for the first time in his father's gym.

THE FIRST STORE
A shop selling fitness supplements and apparel. NEBBIA's first roots — still under another name.

SEWN FOR FRIENDS
Martin and Stanka start making clothes for people in their gym. No plan for a brand. Just because nothing better existed.

Demand grows faster than expected. Clothes for friends become a brand.

Our first export beyond Slovakia. The interest stops being local.
